Alex graduated from Michigan State University, majoring in Teaching and Curriculum. He obtained U.S teaching certificate, Chinese Senior Teaching Certificate and IB certificate. Alex has 4 years teaching experience in the U.S public elementary and high schools, serving as
a classroom teacher in an IB elementary school in Minnesota for 2 years. In Changsha, he
worked as a grade leader, head of math and dean of academic administration in an IB-PYP authorized school. He helped students gain Gold Awards in Kangaroo Math Competition.
